The IADR, AADOCR, and all Group/Network Communities will not be accessible from October 18-21, 2021 as IADR goes through site improvements. Thank you for your understanding.

Why was the in-person component of the 2021 IADR/AADR/CADR General Session & Exhibition canceled?

Due to the continued concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic on the health and safety of our members, exhibitors and sponsors, the IADR and AADR Boards, with input from the CADR, made the difficult decision to cancel the in-person component of the IADR/AADR/CADR General Session & Exhibition in Boston, Mass., USA.

For the first time in IADR history, the General Session, will be an entire virtual experience. This decision was not taken lightly, and while it comes with disappointment, our top priority will always be the health and safety of our IADR members, attendees, exhibitors, partners and staff at GHQ and in our host city of Boston. What is a virtual meeting?

The General Session & Exhibition is now a fully virtual meeting experience. The virtual format allows for any registered attendees, regardless of location, to view high-quality presentations and interact with colleagues online.

Using the IADR General Session virtual experience platform, attendees can watch presentations live or view recorded sessions at any time. Registered attendees will be able access online thousands of research presentations, including the Distinguished Lecture Series, symposia, Keynote Addresses, Lunch & Learning and oral and poster sessions. Attendees will also be able to discuss and network with other attendees from around the world in the online IADR Community.

Why does the virtual meeting registration cost the same as a traditional in-person registration?

While IADR does not have to lease a convention center for the 2021 General Session the cost has been replaced with IT and labor costs to successfully conduct a virtual meeting. From an attendee perspective, we hope the savings from not having to travel or stay in a hotel will be helpful.

What should i do if i registered to attend the General Session in-person?

Your in-person registration will be automatically updated for virtual attendance. A confirmation email with the updated registration type will be sent via email, which includes more information about attending the meeting virtually. You do not need to contact IADR/AADR.

What should i do about my hotel reservation?

All hotel reservations made through the IADR housing website will automatically be canceled. A confirmation email will be sent once this process is complete. credit card charges for hotel reservations made through the IADR housing website have not been processed therefore no refunds are due.

If you booked your hotel through another site or directly with the property you must contact the hotel or booking website for cancellation or a refund.

What do i do if i submitted my abstract for in-person or undecided?
