IADR Joseph Lister Award for New Investigators

The IADR Joseph Lister Award for New Investigators is managed by the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) and supported by Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. The Awards Competition was created to award young investigators with original research in oral disease prevention or oral health promotion.Awards are open to candidates from IADR Divisions and non-Division Sections.  The number of candidates is determined by a formula based on membership.  The selected candidates will be eligible to compete in the IADR Unilever Hatton Competition and Awards.

IADR Hatton Competition and Awards

Awards are made to young investigators selected by each of the IADR Divisions and non-Divisional Sections and judged best in presenting meritorious oral presentations on original research at the IADR General Session.

3 Minute Thesis (3MT)

The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition celebrates the exciting research conducted by Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) students. Developed by The University of Queensland (UQ), the exercise cultivates students’ academic, presentation, and research communication skills. The competition supports their capacity to effectively explain their research in three minutes, in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience.
